villain was 23/17 and has been stealing a ton of my SB. i raise once he folded. but he's been going at it. here i decided to use position and find a spot to take down the pot postflop.

the stats i have on him indicate he's aggro on the flop and then slows down.

Full Tilt Poker $1/$2 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players

CO: $82.05
BTN: $25.00
SB: $193.00
Hero (BB): $217.00
UTG: $216.60
MP: $321.55

Pre Flop: ($3.00) Hero is BB with J 8
4 folds, SB raises to $6, Hero calls $4

Flop: ($12.00) A 9 3 (2 players)
SB bets $8, Hero calls $8

Turn: ($28.00) K (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $18, SB calls $18

River: ($64.00) 5 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero?

I was thinking about betting $44 here. Thoughts?

well i would probably bet again but i'd probably fold the flop. i guess he can cc most ax on the turn...but your overall plan doesnt really look great. its a hard board for you to have many value hands on (ax is really it). so with that said he can comfortably c/c most any Kx/JJ type hand in general i think on the turn. anyways i guess you have to be able to value bet some Ax hands so i'd just bet something wierd. im not a huge fan of the bet turn/check river line much either in these situations.
