Hero is 22/19, 3b 9% over 60~hands
CO is 24/24 over ~60 hands, folding to 5/5 3b's so far.
SB loves to squeeze/make heros life misserable

Im fine flatting KJs pre in pos, but SB is LAGtard # 1...
When CO finally flats a 3b after folding to the first 5 3b's , hero puts CO on 77-TT, AQ,AJs and thinks co will 4b better..

Hero (BTN): $225
SB: $988
BB: $54.25
UTG: $198
MP: $204.25
CO: $234.60

Pre-Flop: K J dealt to Hero (BTN)
UTG calls $2, MP folds, CO raises to $7, Hero raises to $24.50, 3 folds, CO calls $17.50

Flop: ($54) 7 3 2 (2 Players)
CO checks, Hero bets $34, CO raises $88, Hero..should have checked back flop or is happy getting it in here?

Never happy getting it in here given the possibilty of axfd, but given that potential for random lower sc's if he is getting frustrated from the 3b'ing. Obv once we 3b pre and get this board we're never folding on the flop with the fd + 2overs but I think I kinda like checking back the flop alot

sucks cause his sizing screams hi im nutted since tt or whatever wouldnt make it that small flatting feels dirty but i think it might be ok here we're getting like what 4-1 immediate odds? id flat here and fold ui

dude why did you include read on sb lol doesnt look like hes involved in this hand

Flat pre.
If you want to 3bet make it a little smaller. $22 sounds good.

C-bet less ($28) and as played you cant do nothing besides get in.

Thats not a reason to 3bet, IMO.
You have position and can call/call the 3bet and get in in a lot of flop etc.

so postflop here flatting the c/r is reasonable? funny nobody really addressed this issue lol
09-10-2010 , 08:59 AM
flat the c/r looks ok. if turn bricks you can get a chance to check back. (looks like no FE)

just shovel...

yeah you're 3bet is a bit too big, and flatting is also quite good since limper is most likely to come along too.

obviously you're never folding now, you have huge equity vs just about any range.

flatting is really bad, with 2overs+ flush draw you want to see both turn an river.

Your 3bet size pre is too big as others have said. 22 or 21 is fine. Considering what sounds like an aggressive image, I think you have 1 or 2 overs + fd a lot here so after you cbet you should just get it in. I'd shove flop because there's probably a tiny bit of FE there and if he has like 88-TT he might get away from his hand at some point when you hit something.
