NL200: Dumb spot in 4bet pot NL200: Dumb spot in 4bet pot

your definitely behind here 99% of the time and your crappy post flop play($18 donk bet) has now forced you to lose a big pot with AK.

A better line against someone 3 betting this much if you were trying to make money off a aggro who u think has a worse hand then check raise all in on the flop.

Your only play from here is a rr shove. Otherwise your almost 40% of a stack in on a 12% spike chance IF he doesnt have AA KK or set and no redraws and with no fold equity on future streets... Ultimate Yuck.

No plan and terrible bet sizes. Inviting way too much trouble.

4 bet bigger and $18 flop bet begs to be played with not only this hand but invites future trouble because of your weak/looseness.

Please post result.

Get yourself in the most +ev situations and play well or get yourself in easy ones, play like a ****** while never improving. hmmmmm.

Also you havent explained why betting $2 is bad (zomg it must be bc its a minbet), so ill assume that im right and that youre ******ed.

I think the honus is on you to explain why a 2$ bet accomplishes anything at all. What do we do if he minraises us? I guess one line would be to click it back, but then what if he does it again. Oh boy, we're in the thick of it now! Fortunately our genius can get pull us out of this giant leveling war around the 9th raise....

ZOMG!

On a serious side note, my point about putting yourself in easy situations is that taking a minor ev hit is better than making the wrong read some percentage of the time which results in a major ev hit. You can call this "******ed" and say i'm just sticking my head in the sand like a dumb ostrich. But in reality I'm just trying to make life easy, because I feel a comfortable poker player is a profitable poker player.

If you wont (can't) explain to me why you think betting $2 in this situation if we are OOP is bad without using ridiculously extreme examples with easy answers (call getting 68-1), then ill try and explain why i think its good:

The std line is to c/f oop as villains likely range in these situation is TT-QQ and AA/KK some of the time, and c/f looks good as he's never really folding any of his range to a bet. Now obv if we check hes going to be betting somewhere ~=> 1/2 pot and we cant do **** with no FE and no odds.

If we risked $2 in the chance that sometimes he'll get confused/suspicious with his TT-QQ and just flat (yes, this wont happen most of the time) the 2 bucks, then we have just paid 2 ***** $ for a 6 to 1 shot of hitting our outs on the turn in a $128 pot. Seems worth it imo.

I dont even know why im explaining this b/c op was IP in this hand, so this doesnt even apply.

edit: Question: Does comfortable poker involve stuff like raising for info? Leading 99 on Q34 flops?
