NL100 TPGK in 4Bet Pot NL100 TPGK in 4Bet Pot

Villain literally 3bet me every open for 2 orbits. I 4bet bluff here with QJ and get flatted OOP. Do I have to get it in here? What is Villain flatting a 4bet with against someone who is obviously frustrated with him?

Also, I am aware that another adjustment to constant 3betting is to tighten up. However, it was getting to the point where I wasn't even able to play AJ/AQ from the button as he would 3bet everytime and either donk huge or check/raise me.

seems like if you are going to 4 bet QJ (even as a bluff) this is the board you're felting it on.

do u have a stats ?

against a TAG i don't like rr and calling preflop, QJ is under domination

if your gonna 4bet bluff, IMO you should 4 bet a little more than 2.5X his bet

As long as you 4bet 2.5x with your big hands QQ-AA, AK then this size is fine because it gives you room to bluff its profitable and will induce shoves from worse pre flop when you have a big hand your calling with. As for 4betting here you have to make a stand eventually but I'd rather see it done when your on the button and have position. As for the board texture I think you have to stack off here. If villain has been 3betting you every time for 2 orbits your not folding here. He'll sometimes wake up with a hand that beats you here but he can also get it in with a multiple straight draws, flush draws with a few T's and if he is crazy enough 99-77. I wouldn't be thrilled about getting it in but here I think you have to. Or you could just fold pre flop and eventually stack him with your big hands depends how much variance you enjoy in your game.

If you 4bet this hand pf then you have to get it in on this sort of flop.

why are you betting this flop. Flip the hand and you'll realize how awful your flop bet is (look at it from his perspective with xy).

If he's been 3betting you nonstop for 2 orbits its more likely he'll be valueraising+more likely he'll not be folding preflop (like he'll reraise TT+/AQ+ which is still 6%, but will 5bet shove all in with them as well). Versus this guy i'd make a note he 3bets really light at the start of the session and playback then.

also cold calling pre is way better than 4betting then sticking it in on this flop (you have no reason to believe he's calling 4bets light). The main reason is he's getting two shots and filtering out his weaker hands. Whose villain anyhow?

i think you should get it in, ur like 20% vs KK+, but 44% vs AK/QQ+

pretty gross, but i would be 4betting when i'm IP. also, as played, when you hit TP, i feel that you would have to stack off here. having TPGK in a 4bet pot is just a hand that i have to get it in with. checking is dumb as you give a free card possibly, folding is dumb bc you have TP.

i like bet/calling here

btw personally i would sit up from the table and find a better one tbh

pretty much

I agree you need to get it in on this flop but c/c >>>>>> b/c

I think betting the flop is fine. What do you want to do here? We are supposed to check and hope he bluffs into us? I would say it is pretty unlikely he is going to bluff this flop if we check to him. So now we are going to have to check to him twice hoping he makes a move? I dont like that at all. I would be c-betting flops in 4b pots pretty often since I have a big hand when I 4b (this is what we want him to think), so we have to bet here. If the goal is to get him to make a move, then make a tiny bet, bet like $12 and see what he does.

On this board I think b/c is better.

You cant be bluffing if you check, that being said I like a bet of $30 better bc I think it might induce more bluffs from him. I still hate when they flat my 4bets though.

Nothing wrong with tucking your tail between your legs any just leaving the table. I really just started playing poker again, but I remember I used to get frustrated and make moves like this because "they cant have it everytime." Really its just ******ed (Im guilty of it too), he has position on you and can pwn you.
