BB is pretty bad and plays too many hands preflop. On the river BB has close to pot and I shove for value?

meh i actually think betting is fine, but i don't like shoving even if it is just a PSB to him. something like $28 looks good to me.

When he calls you you are 99% behind. I understand a bet of 30, not this.

I thought that he will very rarely have an A since then will most likely shove turn and there is several draws that missed so he might look me up with QJ or JT.

Check behind might be best line but If I bet I dont think it should bet any less than all in since he only have 42$ left and I would always shove If I had a strong hand.

what you'd do w/ a strong hand is totally irrelevant. you want a call from Jx or maybe a random 9 if he's a total drooler. shoving is not the best way to accomplish that.
