Thought this was interesting. do you guys for sure know what to do here?

this is 55,33,TT+ so much of the time.‎
easy fold to the turn bet imo.

I'd fold as well... Not sure what else to say to be honest. Don't have a lot of overbetting experience

That turn overbet is pretty safe to assume as the nuts until you've seen him pull this with worse. Fold and it's not close without reads.

i've seen this move 1 time in last 50k hands. how are you guys so sure?
09-04-2010 , 11:44 PM
yeah, I think this is closer than previous posters think. donks dont overbet their value-hands like that on the turn imo. some donks do overbet their bluffs randomly though, so calling down cant be all that bad.

if you dont like variance just fold turn until you have more information on the guy

I'm def folding turn, but if somehow I call - I'm calling river.

I've seen this spot several times and I remember it was nutlike hands more often than a draw or like toppair - almost always better than a JJ here.

yeah obv it's villain specific, and perhaps he's some rare breed of donk that does this w/ air b/c he feels like it, but I've never seen a fish do this with air. And I HAVE seen them do it with "nutted" hands. I put that in parenthesis since to a fish "nuts" aren't necessarily the same as they are to us. I'm def folding turn w/out a read that he's just a major aggro spazz.

I agree it's never abluff. but AT/KT or something is definitely possible imo. The donks are not thinking beyond "I has top pair" sometimes. BTW he had AT.

Well if he did bluff-raise flop he can't expect you to fold this turn so he may have seen his options as either checking giving up or trying to be creative and overbetting.

Could be A2s/A4s or perhaps an overplayed AT or slowplayed QQ+.

I do tend to give people credit first time they make some crazy plays.
