personally i either shove and call it a cooler, or call and reevaluate the turn. but just folding aa on 976 cant be a good move imo. if you are going to fold to a cr, check the flop back for pot control

I dont mind this fold, but definitely do NOT check back flop.
His calling range in this spot is huge and you would be missing a ton of value not betting.

this is true. im not advocating a check back on the flop, but if you are planning on folding to a cr, then there is an argument for it because flops like this get cr'ed a lot. i think checking back is better than bet folding, but 3bet call i think is best here but flatting might also be good. im not really a fan of folding aa on 9 high flops

I could see a valid argument against a tag and folding if you were OOP... as this board hits a lot of 2 pair, sets and draw type combos. But when you have position at least call.
