looks good

gh sir. i like the flop raise for sure, definitely induces some bad shoves from this player i think.

looks good to me. your small raise should induce a lot of crap. if he showed up with AA/AK this one time it's just unlucky.

What do you think about 4bet folding pre in this hand?
03-09-2010 , 05:28 AM
Sample size is meaningless. I would take it slow on the flop. This is a type of board I prefer floating rather than raising.

against him I call the flop and let him bet the turn and then raise

are you ever getting away from your hand when you just float the flop?

also, 4b/folding seems terrible to me. the hand is way to pretty to waste it like this. esp since 5b-bluff-shoves or valueshoves with hands you´re flipping against are so common nowadays.

Almost never but with no history he should be more willing to barrel light than to spazz on the flop. Draws will barrel anyway.

u do realize this looks a lot stronger than this line?
I mean if I'm villain I would think you'd be FOS since there are almost no strong Kx in your range

I like this line at this moment against this villain since he'll spazz out a lot

Yeah, I really like this. People rarely raise a K on this flop and you look fos. Will induce a lot I think.

i like the line, he prob puts you on a draw and calls with 99

i think you can see it this or that way, depending on the opponent. Thus there's probably not much EV difference between calling and raising.

I like the line, nh gg

I don't like to peg players as 3Betting light until they show they can (by showing down some garbage or marginal hand they 3Bet) or if they have a large 3Betting frequency over an adequate sample size. 40 hands is nothing. Fold pre.

+ calling the flop
when you call here and dont rase it looks v weak to this opponente and he can barrel any 2 on a good turn card

but i agree us repping a narrow value range here so this is maybe good

yea I like smoothing the flop and getting it on on most turns.
