you have the nuts and its an overbet on the flop, you don't exactly need to protect from anything. if you call or shove they both look really strong, but i think you should go with call here.

why? what difference?

Although it's unlikely that the SB and UTG will come along whether you call the overbet or shove over it, there is a greater liklihood that one of them may come along if you just call the all in. When you have the nuts, this is what you want. Either way though, I don't think they are coming along too often and either play can't be too big a mistake. If one of them has a flush draw lets say, they are probably going with it regardless of your action, hence it really doesn't matter too much what you do.

tank call imo, sets and two pair might shove over the top.

I hate your preflop call. For you to make this call means that you are willing to put in a fair amount of bluff raises postflop, or that the people are so bad that they are going to stack off with any piece when you hit twopair+. Once SB 3bets it's like meh, but I would also still call, although it would be a much easier decision if you were suited, but anyways.

Once SB checks here, he's telling you all that he has AK, he might have something like JJ but he's def just betting the flop himself like 85% of the time here. Again if UTG had a good pair of jacks or a draw I'm pretty sure he would just bet call, but he didn't. Now CO shoves, and at this point it doesn't really matter if you call or shove, because by calling you are committing yourself to the pot. What you want to be thinking about in these type of scenarios where your call doesn't necessarily mean that you are committed to the pot, is how would you play a draw here? Something like QThh? Yeah, you would most likely jam, so to me, it's kind of ******ed to make a distinction between the two. The only case where this could matter at all is if you are playing some fish that would be more intimidated if you shove. Now obviously that is up to you to figure out while you are at the table since it's going to vary from fish to fish.

I guess that in this exact situation you don't lose much by just calling since your call is committing anyways and this might induce the UTG to jam a draw that he checked (which is unlikely, less than 5%). But really, I don't think it matters.

Preflop is nothing short of awful.
