NL100: AK postflop in 3 bet pot on 883 board NL100: AK postflop in 3 bet pot on 883 board

Villain seems somewhat of a regular. He plays 21.3/18.3/5.88 over 474 hands. His fold to 3bet was 81% which are high I think most hands are mined and I don't have any history with him.
Is this spew?
Does any of you c-bet/fold this kind of board? For this play to be good he has to play somewhat bad in reraised pots because he should then be bet/folding smaller pocketpairs. Check folding seems weak, but maybe I need to be more weak
What do you say?

I don't mind check/folding here.

Try assigning villain a range of hands and then see how AK does on this flop against that range, and then on a J73 rainbow flop against the same range.

I think you'd be surprised at the results.

He's calling you with the relative top of his range...

And this looks like a sound plan ?

no need to get creative without any reads/history and with a tag-ish villain who calls w/ only the top of his MP raising range in 3bet pots.

c/f is prolly the best line here

c/r here is somewhat ok and at least you prolly have 6 outs too but this is a move you could put on someone that calls 3b light ip and even then it's not ok to do it every time, depending on villain's ability to fold 99/TT here and the other junk he might call with

as played I hate it, you fold out his AQ/AJ/KQs etc and get called by TT+ and the random sc w/an 8 in it (if thats even in his range)

It's too fancy in a 3B pot versus someone with a tight 3B calling range. You're going to get looked up too often here. I think c/f is best here.

you dont need to shove tbh. A minraise will work out just as good. And when he shoves on you, you still can insta muck it.

i would c/f

I'm in the c/f camp. I really doubt villain is betting here without the intention of calling a shove.

From villian's perspective it's imho a good spot to bluffbet, isn't it?

I'm just curious.

Btw. i also think fold is best, there are still too many PPs in his range, which he won't fold.

But i don't think this play is terrible, if villian is agressive in 3b pots and calls 3bets light IP. Which is not the case here.
