I know I played it badly. What is the best line here for me?

Villain: 31/14 fold to 3b: 70%

Hero bets $12.00, CO calls $12.00

Turn: ($43.00, 2 players) T

looks fine

if you bet smaller on turn i dont think u have odds to call, and i don't think c/r is a good option, i think ur line is fine

Not sure about the turn tbh. Villain is pretty passive, so he won't be punishing you too much and there aren't many hands in his flop calling range that fold the turn. I think checking might be better.
