Why are you checking the turn? Why are you betting the river?

looks like a fold i think if he just got the a-high st8 he would have bet the turn a decent amount of the time

If villain is decent I like a fold here. It's a very bad spot for villain to bluff raise so his raise is pretty much for value. At best you're chopping but this looks like a flush very much.

Also bet the turn to charge draws. Fwiw I like your river bet to get value from bluff catchers.

i check the turn because i saw no valiue in betting the 1 card straight that he ovious also can have on 2 streets.

So you figured there is value on the river to bet it when the flush got there and the board didn't change?

You realize that your logic isn't making sense?

Itīs not about value betting, itīs about charging his draws. He will always check behind his 1pair/2pair/FD hands here so you might as well charge them. Also it looks somewhat bluffy and he might even play back at you.
