Villain is playing 28/25 over 500 hands with a 25% flop check raise. My initial thought was Meh but is this a standard stack off or can we ever call, evaluate turn?

UTG: $20.00
Hero (MP): $100.00
CO: $152.82
BTN: $44.16
SB: $100.00
BB: $108.85

UTG posts a big blind ($1.00)

Pre Flop: ($2.50) Hero is MP with 4 4
UTG checks, Hero raises to $4, 3 folds, BB calls $3, 1 fold

Flop: ($9.50) 4 7 8 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $7.00, BB raises to $23

flatting isnt bad, but dont ever fold to a non-6/5 turn, and really, its very results-oriented of you to consider folding the flop.

wat

The decision here is, do you want to call and let him bluff some. Or do you want to 3bet to ~$48 and ship river.

25% c/r is a lot. I'd call and jam his turn barrel
