Line check in very casual situation

Hi there,
I read some stuff about betting in this situation but Im not sure. Its a very simple situation that comes a lot.
I like to check in those situations bc
1/ I want to pot control
2/ no cards really hurt my hand on turn, any A Q or spade gives me a draw if I m beat
3/It looks more like a bluff
4/I avoid being C/R by ppl how like to do that with draws or smpp
5/Ill use same line with Kx here
Thoughts?
Villain is 19/18 fish AF 3.8
