Villain is somewhat of a TAGfish I have him running at 23/13 doesn't seem particularly good. Don't have any solid reads, he should view me as a TAG reg, we haven't really tangled.

I don't always Cbet this board but I decided I could barrel a lot of turns to fold out his random floats. As it happens I turn top pair. I decided to bet for value as I don't see him folding 44-99 with a heart. I figure river is a c/f as he should check back most of his small PP's.

If I had reads that villain was the floaty type, who likes c/c c/c?

Thoughts or is my logic flawed in this hand?

I like your play. It looks weak at first glance, but unless he's floating with KQ/AQ with a heart and repping the flush flawlessly, you need to be beat here. His not raising the turn with a flush makes sense on a paired board, and his river bet sizing certainly looks for value. I think it's decently close, but I think you played it optimally.

your logic is sound OP. you beat the double float and that's it.

Looks like a fine line to take, no reason for him to turn a made hand into a bluff. Think we are facing a flush or better here
