just got home to a jury duty summons waiting in the mail

how do I know how long it will last? I'm supposed to report in a month at 9 AM and that's all it says

1) you might not have to go, there might not be an jury trials that day. There was a number for me to call the night before the date to find out if I was needed (I was not).

2) you don't know how long it will take, you just have to go until you're released. It could take hours or you might have to be there for days if you get selected into a big trial

3) if you have a legit reason, you can get it deferred until later. I got notice for the week before finals in December. They switched it to a date over break, which was awesome b/c nobody in their right mind wants to have a jury trial on January 3rd

i had jury duty last year. i was called into the room for two cases, but didnt get selected because i said there was a chance that i knew either the defendant or someone involved with the case. if you can show any potential link the judge will snap exclude you because it's just not worth the chance of not having an impartial jury when they can pick a random.

I'm trying to find t-shirts for the summer. I've realized that I've either ripped or otherwise put holes in so many of my t-shirts I've had over the years and don't have that many left. Does anyone have places/brands/things they like? I don't want graphic tees or anything, just plain, light, comfortable shirts (I suppose minimal design is fine). It seems like whenever I get a t-shirt online it ends up being too thick and uncomfortable.

i always just go to old navy and pick up some plain colored shirts...you can get them regular t or v-neck if you prefer.
