I dunno if it's the cold weather and the holiday season that's reminding me of grinding poker, but damn I miss pre-Black Friday poker. I've been getting incredibly nostalgic for it in the past few weeks. I doubt I could beat NL10 right now but I'd give anything for the chance to try.

Anyone here playing in NV, DE, or NJ? From skimming the NJ thread it seems like there are issues all over with the geolocation technology. It's nice to see Americans playing legal online poker again, but incredibly depressing when I think about what it once was. /emo

and you cant play from anywhere but NJ thus far bware, at least as far as im aware of and im pretty in the loop when it comes to remote accessing sites(beat) haha.

I ended up buying the new pro with retina and haswell etc. I've always been anti apple, but I do really love this computer

Do you run OSX? My gf has an imac and I tilt everytime I have to do something on it, can't find anything. How long does it take to adapt, is there proper MS office available (including VBA), do games all work normally?

Also; yay to the thread being bumped. I just never anything useful to report.

Yeah I use the Mac OS. I planned on installing Windows because I have always hated macs, but to be honest, once you get used to it it's pretty easy.

Keep in mind that I'm quite a simplistic computer user (basically just use it for music/videos/surfing the net) so I can't comment on more advanced stuff, but for the simple everyday stuff I think I might prefer it to PC

Games aren't bad. Most the traffic is on wsop, but UP has some really soft games at night....just not a lot. There's def some tough players, but there's a slough of bad aggressive and fishy regs too.

I am indeed. Unfortunately I play on Domination since a group of my friends from home/college are not into the whole HC world (as am I, as dying to lag already makes me a sadpanda on normal, I'd be megasadpanda on HC).

Other things (as I've not posted for months): BB ending was great, g/f bought me beer glasses with Los pollos hermano and the "heisenberg" sketch on them, I'd recommend watching "The Fall", and I'm going to start busting ass in the gym come Jan 2nd as my 5 year college reunion isn't 6 months away FML.

I miss poker too. My work life ... well, it'll make for some interesting stories here some day.
