Get experience then worry about getting a job you like.
I could most likely get a standard web dev job doing boring **** 40hrs/week and making a decent salary for the job itself. I've got a couple decent other opportunities right now due to working under the assistant director of my college and him being connected to others in the industry around here.
But, while I don't really like the candidates this company has worked for, I do really like politics in general and think this job would be incredibly interesting and perhaps a great launch pad for a job in the future that is connected with politics.
The interview itself went pretty well today and the lead developer said he was putting together some more technical problems today that he'd email me about in the next week. They did ask if I had an interest in politics and I explained I did and asked how the workplace was with respect to personal politics and he said it's pretty diverse and everyone is respectful blah blah.
Also, 2 months 2 million is on Netflix if any of you are interested.
