Leak fixing: weak aces nl200 Leak fixing: weak aces nl200

I have been tryinbg to fix leaks in my game and I think a major one is when I have TP with a weak/decent kicker and I think the villain is floating:

$1/$2 No Limit Holdem
5 players
Converted at weaktight.com

Stacks:
UTG ($1008.15)
CO ($200.00)
BTN ($226.55)
Hero ($248.10)
BB ($200.00)

Pre-flop: ($3, 5 players) Hero is SB A 4
3 folds, Hero raises to $7, BB calls $5

Flop: 6 Q A ($14, 2 players)
Hero bets $10, BB calls $10

Turn: T ($34, 2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $20, Hero calls $20

River: Q ($74, 2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $50, Hero calls $50

The villain in this case is a multitabler TAG (22/20/4.5).
I become such a station when theres that small bet on the turn as well. I thought he could have a missed draw on the river.

i bet the turn again for value against stuff like Qx, and fds,

either c/c or c/f the river based on if draws make it.

I'd bet the turn and check/call river. We chop with all the Ax hands that he does not 3b pf except maybe for some AJ but he 3b some of them also. He probably raises a set of sixes on the flop. There are definitely some missed FDs in his range

if someone is floating you do not punish him by check/calling you should make his life hard by double barrelling, check/raising the turn and playing less hands OOP

i dont really like your line all that much, i'd prob bet the turn by default and hope stuff like JT/QJ/KQ/etc come along. when you check you put yourself in an awkward spot with alot of confusing spots on the river. i dont mind check calling sometimes on the turn but as i said, you'll be really confused to whether he's bluffing or valuebetting or whatever once he does bet both turn and river. so unless you have a good idea of what you think he'd bet (fds/QJ/etc) then i'd probably just bet the turn myself.

given the way you got there, meh. its hard for him to have gotten here with like AK and stuff. i guess AJ/Qx is viable. meh. probably a fold vs. most opponents.

Bet turn for sure. As played I probably call river (since I don't think he bets a bare Q on the turn) but it would feel really meh.

Thanks that explination really helps.

There's nothing wrong with folding preflop when you're going to be OOP against a tough opponent and you have trouble in these sort of spots.
