QJ?

i would def be betting more on the turn. in addition, i would bet/fold 40 myself in your spot.

i like your line. the only problem i have figuring is how can he have a T there. exactly QT would play this way i guess. all two pair, sets, TJs and such probably minraise the turn =). i'd call mostly for info, but his aggr. factor is pretty low.

edit: what he said, vbetting/folding is much better river line.

i hate bet folding in this spot because im a donkey who pays off too much here when im no good, i just find it hard to put him on a hand that beats me except J10 might take this line if he raises the river. not saying b/f isnt optimal, it probably is, but i just get in such a [censored] spot where i pay off too much.

You said you've seen him chase gutshots, he could have any T. Anyways, I also like b/f, and think you're deep enough to not make it too hard to fold when he raises.

c/c is crap...

b/f or c/f... not the spot to c/c at all

not to knock u ike, ur usually a good poster, and player, but this reponse sucks ass.

explain why, not just for me but for others too, like c/c isnt good here because we lose so much value against hands we beat. there is no way a Q is going to value bet this river because of how scary it is now. so we lose all the value against the hands we beat and we call away chips against hands that beat us. if we bet in this spot we have an easy fold if he raises because the board is so wet that it would be hard for him to be bluff raising worse. given your read that he chases gutshots, if he raises your bet on the river we can safely fold.

i think,
thx for the response

i think bet folding instead of check folding these spots massivly increase your winrate. I did check called these things way too much. It sucks if your getting minraised tho, so hard to fold lol.

c/f river

Winner. c/c would gain a ton of value on this river, if we had a read that said villain likes to bluff a high % of the time. By default most villains simply are checking behind a good amount of hands here that would have called a reasonable river bet, betting hands that have us crushed, and not bluffing very often. Therefore c/c represents the worst option in these spots w/o more of a feel on a particular opponent. Which we obviously don't have very often.

i def thought bet fold was the best line, and at the time i was running like crap so i went with the tiltless showdown and c/c. he had 109.
