KK first hand at a new table KK first hand at a new table

Hey everyone,

First off, this hand was played on a game's website, where we are gambling "fake" cash, though it has value. $20,000,000 of this game's cash is worth roughly $5 USD. Someday I might make a post in the poker theory board to explain how some "fake" currencies have real value, but until then, bear with me. I denote "million" as "mn"

Blinds are 2.5mn/5mn. 8 handed

Hero (UTG)[150mn] KK, raises to 15mn
UTG+1 [250mn] calls 15mn
UTG+2 goes all-in for 80mn total
UTG+3 [950mn] calls 80mn.
folds back to Hero.

These tables tend to be rather loose, but there ARE good players out there. UTG2 is unknown and, therefore, probably loose (the good players are well known). I put him on a huge range, so I'm pretty confident I have him beat.

UTG1 and Hero have some history. Hero considers UTG1 a weak player.

UTG3's flat call concerns me--I'm thinking AA/AK. He is a somewhat known player, but I have not played with him before. I could see him flat calling so as not to scare me out, since he should have the idea that I have some strength. If he puts me on a wide range, he might think a reraise to put me all-in would scare me off. Perhaps he is hoping I will re-raise myself all-in.

Hero has 135mn behind, 65mn to call, staring at a 197.5mn pot. Hero?

results in the spoiler.

Spoiler:

I thought about it, and went all-in. UTG3 and I dont have any history, so he could be putting me on a wider range than I play.

I am Lieutenant_Wolf in the below image, UTG2 is hcpetie, and UTG3 is TheGambler (fitting name).

also judging from this hand there aren't any even semi-competent players besides maybe you.

I guess since it's play money and people are generally so much tighter/more careful, I'd probably fold here. If it was a real money table and serious stakes (NL5+) I would probably shove it in here. 100bb deep it's still probably a fold at NL5 though.

this forum is for 100bb+ play at 100 and 200nl

this hand isn't 100bb and it's a pretty basic situation anyway
