Villain 3bets 9% in those positions and folds to 4bet 50%. He doesn't 5bet.
My postflop plan was to bet-check-bet as I expect him to float flop a lot. I don't think I get called by much worse if I barrel turn. Probably AQ, QQ+. What do we do OTR? Do we x/c, bet, x/f? I feel like all my options are bad.

Unless they are fish, then srs nobody float in 4b pot w crap. Just ship turn, they gonna got something to call. And river you have to pay for your mistake, just fold it.

I'm not sure I understand. Do the stats/history back this up or not?

Not really. That's just how I see the situation. He doesn't 5bet so I expect him to continue OTF with wider range as he have a lot of strong hands to protect it. If I bet turn though, what am I expecting value from? Only AQ the was I see it. What range do you see him calling turn with?

Bet bet bet.

Bet jam checking is not an option here

Flop bigger so you can ship turn. As played, fold riv.

That's just some false assumption. Micro stakes players are usually pretty honest in 3bet and 4bet pot, they won't float a lot.

His range will call your turn bet with so many middle pairs.

No, flop smaller to go for 3 street.

flop is dry enough for us to bet small with the intention of going for three streets

checking the turn seems like FPS

any merit in ~$14 preflop bc we're a little deeper than usual?

Certainly, especially since we are OOP. Increasing our sizing will somewhat reduce villains implied odds, but we mainly want to force villain to pay for the privilege of playing a pot in position.

+1. Like you really need some kind of read here that he is floating rather often to default away from betting here.

I would personally take the bet bet x/f line.

Sizing wise, pre i would make it bigger. unless you are well balance. but even then, playing pot oop is not fun. make him pay if he wants to peel his 89s/T9s.

As played. Fold river, 100% unless he has some convincing history
