jordan morgan resqueezes - 200NL jordan morgan resqueezes - 200NL

he has been playing aggro at the two or three tables i sat with him. i was somewhat aggro but not out of line.

a couple hands before this hand i bet/called on the button with suited connectors, because he was constantly 3-betting in the big blind. flop was Kxx, he c-bet/shoved 99, which was second pair, i sucked out with my OESD.

then this hand: the cold caller on the button is a fish who called all the time. so it's a great squeeze spot for me.
the question is, who knows him well enough to say if i can stack off here with ATo?

CO raises to $7, BTN calls $7, Hero raises to $30, 1 fold, CO raises to $99, 1 fold, Hero?

You can either fold really quickly or hollywood for 5 secs and then fold, your choice.

why all the stupid answers?

if you don't know villain but still want to say something, at least talk about his range or something.

I've played a lot with Jordan. First, your stats on him are not accurate. He plays a lot tighter than that. Second, when Jordan makes it $99 he is never ever ever folding and this is incredibly obvious. He's not making a committing 4-bet with anything that doesn't have you crushed. ATo is a terrible hand to have in this spot, and if you shoved then you played it terribly. HTH

If he's sizing a 4bet bluff like that it's kinda dumb IMO.

Second you shouldn't really be squeezing too light when a calling station fish calls on the button ... so then if he knows that than he shouldn't be 4betting too light.

So fold IMO.

Yeah, I have Jordan as a semi-nitty/taggish player. Also, look @ his 4bet size. You have a crap hand in A10 and are hoping that he is leveling you so that you can relevel him and value-shove A10. He sure isn't doing this size raise w/ A9 or 78...so maybe just fold and look for a better spot.

hes not semi nitty, hes a spaz, but doing anything but folding with ATo here is bad.

Its a fold..
Your equity is 47% against his 3bet range, so villain needs a really high fold to 4bet to make a shove with AT profitable..

thanks for all these thoughtful replies!

now i'm a bit confused about his tightness - he certainly wasn't tight over the 300 hands i've played with him.

his raise size seems bad, no matter if he's valueraising or not imo. the only thing it tells me, is that i have zero fold equity.

buff disciple mentioned the leveling, which is pretty much what makes me wonder here.
because my range in this exact situation was probably any two cards. if he knows that, he can stack off with a massive range and i shouldn't fold AT because it's close to the top of my range.

but considering that this is 200NL, where most people are not very aggro, i'm not sure if our little history is enough to make him think i'm aggro / loose enough so that he changes his standard range here.
