Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $1(BB) Full Tilt
SB ($155)
BB ($100)
UTG ($204)
Hero ($241)
CO ($59.90)
BTN ($107)

Dealt to Hero J J

fold, Hero raises to $3.50, fold, fold, SB raises to $11.50, fold, Hero calls $8

FLOP ($24) 8 4 7

SB bets $16, Hero calls $16

TURN ($56) 8 4 7 5

SB bets $30

Villain is bortman1, 21/17 6% 3bet I have zero reads on his post flop play in 3 bet pots.

The turn is bet is weird as i kinda expect him to check his overpairs some % of the time and give up with his ace highs. I m not sure what to do.

My image is probably decent TAGish reg, maybe on the looser side when folded to me due to the two big fishes in the CO and BTN.

Call turn.

okay then any awesome plans on the river when he launches the last barrel, which he will likely do??
and what about a 3bet on the turn, to rep a set or str8?

Our equity vs his range when he fires 3 streets is a **** ton better than our equity when he gets it in on the turn, I'd rather c/f turn than c/r it. That would basically be butchering the hand in the name of simplicity.

agreed raising turn is horrid. Call. Call most rivers.

Just calling turn is bad if V not capable of firing again as a bluff on river as we don't protect our hand if it is best (depends on how polorised Vs 3betting is vs our MP open, ie number of AsXs, KsXs or even QsXs flush draws) and value own ourselves by calling it off vs only QQ+.

If instead 100bb deep do get it in on this low wet flop or wait until turn vs a 21/17?

I've played a ton with bortman, and I think your up against 6x here, a hand like KsQs, or a hand like Ts9s. Basically I have never seen him bet/bet with AA in this spot. The thing is, he can certainly have some 6x hands in his range which have you crushed, and even his combo draws have decent equity vs you. I guess if you think he's going to make your life hell on the river, then fold turn. If you think he gives up all bluffs by the river, then call turn/fold river.
