Hi, most of you don't know me but I'm a long time lurker/small time poster here on 2+2, but who plays MSNL for a living and is currently residing in Phuket in Thailand. I don't know how many of you knew him but from the impression I got Jack wilcox was a fairly prominent/active member of the MSNL community here on 2+2, at least until a little while ago, and he recently moved out to Phuket to join up with the rest of the poker playing fraternity we have out here. Unfortunately, having only been here a few days, he died in the early hours of this morning in a motorcycle accident, so just thought I'd pass the information on to those around here who knew him. Terribly sad news, he seemed like a really nice kid too. My thoughts are with his family and those closest to him

RIP, I think I talked to him a little in some strategy posts a couple of years back.. life is very cheap sometimes but at least he died in a beautiful place doing what he loved... he's from UK right? Thailand sure beats being in England now in the winter...

reminds me at a good friend who died 8-9years ago in thailand by riding a motorcycle. sad news. RIP

So sad to hear this.

I hadn't talked to jackwilcox until about a month ago after making an interest post in the travel forum. We exchanged a few PMs and he was telling me about how he's for a while really wanted to go on 2 major adventure trips -- vancouver to panama and cairo to cape town. I'm sorry he never had the chance to do them
