How long did it take you to reach SSNL?

Don't worry about the time, or how you're doing compared to others. Because that's all nonsense. Just put in quality hands, and move up when you're ready. And don't tell yourself "I'm running bad". That just stymies your development.

anyone remember 30nl deeeeeeeeeep.
I grinded my first 100 deposit up to about 2K playing SNGs.
Then started playing 30nl about year and half ago. OB56 and Alstro were crushing the games at that time (atleast it felt that way). Then moved up to 50pl about a year ago. Stayed there about 6 months and now at 100nl with shots up to 600nl whe I see a fishy.
I think I have withdrawn about 20K so could be playing higher, but w/e. Money is put to use in better ways for me right now.
I have always been a bit nittier trying to control varience so I think that has stunted my growth if you will. I think some Lag players can move up fast cause they get themselves in tricky spots PoF and learn from them. However, I have maintained a 5ptbb/100 winrate over all those hands.

i already played some poker without a clue though. started about a year ago with 500 on nl50, moved up to nl200 within 5 months. still stay there due to cashout and seriously downswing issues.
i still cant put in a stoploss. imho thats the key to succeed...

Games are harder nowadays but in 6 months given talent and decent work you should beat nl50 at least.
