How do you play a suited flop? How do you play a suited flop?

So villain limps for $2 with Ks-8o and I raise it to $8 with 8s-8o. He calls and flop comes 2s,7s,10s. Villain raises it 20 and i'm pretty sure he's hitting air so I flat call. Turn comes 3s to complete his King high flush, which also gives me the 8 high flush. He shoves for $30 and i snap call. Did I play this hand correctly?

Anytime you use the term snapcall, and you don't have the nuts then you played incorrectly. You need to think longer in these situations. I think Villain played his draw well. You need to be thinking about the strong possibility of Villain having a strong flush here. If you stop and think about how villain played his hand, and you put him on a flush here then it's a fold. You aren't getting the right price to draw to a boat. I would fold.
Also...if you felt that villain had nothing on the turn then you should have put in a raise at that point. All the money still probably goes in, but at least you would get your money in good which means more profit in the long run.
