BB: $298.10
Hero (UTG): $200.00
CO: $200.00
BTN: $278.00
SB: $100.35

Pre Flop: ($3.00) Hero is UTG with 9 7
Hero raises to $6, CO calls $6, 3 folds

Flop: ($15.00) J 6 5 (2 players)
Hero bets $10, CO raises to $32, Hero requests TIME, Hero raises to $194 all in

No history at all with villian. Not sure what range to even put him on at this point. Possibly slow played overpair, bigger flush draws, str draws, sets or AJ.
I doubt AJ ever raises in this spot, so its either air or one of the hands listed above. I though good chance i could get him to fold some decent draws and made pairs.

If i reraised smaller and he shoved, i would still have to call at that point since i am priced in, so i though a shove would be better.
If i call the flp and miss the turn, then i am forced to fold my draw since i have no read at that point.

Any other way to play this hand?

Especially when your UTG, I like it.

Yeah getting in is best here esp OOP. How would you play it on the turn if you flat flop and miss turn?

You have a fd+gutter, so getting it in can't be bad regardless of flop texture. Add to that he doesn't have that many big hand combos on this flop, it makes it a trivial flop 3bet imo.

He can have 55/66 or 65s sometimes, but he can have air/draws/etc.

I'd 3bet to what ever I usually would here with my entire range. I probably wouldn't shove.
