A Good Card (to double barrell) These Days Is Hard To Find A Good Card (to double barrell) These Days Is Hard To Find

No reads on villain, was 28/13/2 over 120 hands. Yes the flop raise is too small but help me out on the turn here. A good card to double barrell, right? Or should I just take the free card? If db, how much?

I would bet ~22 and shove any non spade river.

If you want to bluff again, check behind turn and bet any spade river. As is, villains raise his mostly hands like pair + gs, pair + straight draw, flush draws, aces up (although I doubt he checks this, you have no read so it is hard to know), sets (see previous), and pairs > 6. I don't think he folds much of it on the turn.

check behind to see another card, he might call u down since, yr drawing 10 cards that would be good for u on the river, even if u raise he might call or even c/r u, then u would be screwed, lol

i like usha's line the most,

villain's line of bet/calling is never really strong and has a ton of draws in it.

villain is sb and raises oop.
he very likely has a very strong range. he is very likely to cr the turn depending on your image. ace might stop him from doing so.
i dont like the flop raise.
as played, i would check behind and bluff spades, vbet if i improve to set or str8

of course usha's line will work a lot since this is a very scary board and u can rep a lot

Think about villain's range here. He's 28/13 and he raises from the SB, that's a lot of 88+ and big aces. Now he leads the flop smallish and just calls your raise. Is he getting tricky and not 3betting with an overpair? Unlikely. Maybe he's just playing cautious w 99 or something, but more likely he's a little stubborn w AK/AQ, maybe has a FD. If you bet the turn again you're saying "hey, I know you could easily have an ace but I'm not scared of that at all and am going to continue repping a very narrow range." Take the free card.

Like u said, raise flop bigger, between 14-16 is fine.

Villain has a good amt of hands on the turn that he will fold to a 2nd barrel (that did not fold to small flop raise). 77-TT fold here a ton, which should be enough justify betting given we only need him to fold 40% of his range for us to show a profit on 2/3 turn bet. Not to mention that we still have a good amt of equity when called.

u can fire the turn, given the flop texture i think u run into Aces up here alot. you can also just call the flop, ur hand might be best, and u can still bluff other draws when they hit
