Hi, new to small stakes, so take it easy with me plz

Anyway, can I have a line check + range of hands you would put me on here.

Iv only played about 10 hands at the table, and have no previous hands with villain on pt. so no history.

missed FD, 9x, 2pr hands

missed FD(your stack is way to small to bluff river you have almost no fold equity)/9x

I doubt he would shove 2pair on the river - he probably just would check behind

A WHOLE bunch of hands given you're just "that guy with 57bb's"
03-21-2008 , 09:32 AM
Agree, I'd put you on a whole bunch of hands here, and other than 99 or 910 I'd almost exclusively weigh your range to bluffs
03-21-2008 , 09:38 AM
If he would be bluffing - why not overbet/pot turn instead of this weak bet that get called by alot of villains range?

here are the results

I had A5o

he snap called the river with AcJc.

I didnt think the bluff was that bad or was it? I think the villains call is bad, might have been a tilted one?

No you were the bad player, you misplayed every single street.

You don't want to be tangling with some BvB for 60BBs, fold pf. I don't care much for the flop all that much either, fold. But since he called your raise it's definitely time to give up, check turn. On the river you don't have enough in your stack to even think about bluffing here, FOLD.

With so less money behind you cant really expect to see people fold any pair since your bluffing freq. prob is almost as big as the odds they get calling you on the river.

BTW odds - he had huge odds in this hand with AcJc, and you bet-bluffing weakly didnt really help you.

Tbh - i really dont like your bluff in that spot at all on a drawy board with a short stack and no real read on him.

Cheers for the responses guys.

your turn action should have been a check or a shove. This line is horrific.

I think we can agree they were both bad.. The AJ guy called a raise on the flop and a bet on the turn with A high..

I prob call your bet w/ >77TBH. I'd call w/ ak hi, but theres a chance you are bluffing 44 or something. When bluffing think about what your line represents. your line is terrible. You rep like 3 hands, and you're not even fullstacked. You can't push him off anything, and your hand makes no sense.

thats why i asked what ppl would put me on before i showed the results, tbh i dont think your calling with 7's there.

On reflection, I shouldnt have been in the hand anyway but it was worth a goose and i wont try it again.

I applaud you for posting in forum to improve, but your line is def a bluff. I dunno if I call rr on flop, w/7s, but if I do I def call river.
