Hello all

I've picked up the following hand in a german forum. Because of so different answers I want to ask the 2+2 forum. The BB is a 26/20 with no history.

MP ($30.10)
CO ($53.55)
Button ($50)
Hero (SB) ($57.15)
BB ($55.20)
UTG ($49.25)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 5, 4
UTG calls $0.50, 1 fold, CO calls $0.50, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.25, BB checks

Flop: ($2) 8, 3, 6 (4 players)
Hero bets $1.40, BB raises to $5, 2 folds, Hero ?

What's your play without the moves already done? What's your play in this particular spot

could you please specify your answer?

because BB isn't raising lite here, best case scenario is A8 but most of the time he's going to have two pairs or 33 66. Take your odds and draw

Call. Usually people are most straightfwd in limped pots.
I am not sure about your FE which is the reason to play fast draws and we dont have the nut fd who is certainly in his range.
If we hit the flush I call turn and almost all rivers (betsize dependent). Str8s are nuts, ldo.

Yeah, call. You don't wanna get it in here, you might be dominated. Keep his range as wide as possible. I'd probably c/f if turn pairs none-heart.

with no reads i'd play bb's raising range in limped pot where sb donks is NFD<2 pairs + or a better combo draw then yours

i'd flat and play be wary if your draw hits and he's still aggressive
