1 fold "comfortably" it's gay but as you know fish usually just tarp here, even AK I wouldn't be thrilled about calling (although I probably do)..

Hand 2 what is your question? Looks standard
04-19-2011 , 01:20 AM
I disagree... Hand 1 looks like a "comfortable" call
04-19-2011 , 01:41 AM
Hand 1 I would call if the fish got iso'ed a ton in the preceding hands because he could rage-shove here a lot, but if it's the first time he does something ******ed like that I'd pitch it.
Hand 2 is nothing but std

hand 1 snappity snap
04-19-2011 , 05:22 AM
its over dude who cares

h1: i fold.

h2: i'd rather 3bet vs this villain but as played flop, turn and river are standard. i like the turn call vs this villain since he's barreling so much and is probably playing 45 tables without paying very close attention.

why? He doesn't fold a lot, isn't 3 betting JT just value-towning ourselves? I get it if he folds to 3 bets a lot, but I don't see it for value.

EDIT: What I wrote as "fold to cbet" is "fold to 3 bet". My bad, typo. Might change your decision.

yea that is an important change. i had assumed that villain was mostly nitty and likely to snap-fold to our 3bets. obviously our 3bet would not be for value, we'd just be balancing our range with a hand that plays decently.

with such a low fold to 3bet i might be inclined to just fold pre against a nitty villain since we will rarely be able to get much value out of the boards we smash. as i type this i realize how nitty it sounds but i just don't like calling here.

as played i still call flop and turn.

Yeah, I think the important spots here are pre, and turn. I'm not against folding, I've been folding a lot in marginal spots and honestly, if you fold a ton of spots that might make a bb or 2 if you play perfect, but you avoid that one mistake that costs you 30bb, you're doing yourself good.
04-20-2011 , 02:48 AM
i don't think i'm folding hand 1 with that guy's stack size

if it was more i can prob find a fold
04-20-2011 , 02:54 AM
ez fold h1, even for 40bbs

loose passive limpshoves, what do you think he has

h2 how else did you want to play it
