Fold, and bet at least $12 on turn.
11-09-2007 , 02:01 AM
yeah i dont get why youre not betting at least 12 on the turn....pretty awful imo

If you bet $12 on the turn and he calls, the pot will be $40 on the river and he'll have $64 behind - the river basically plays itself at that point (hint: you bet $30-35 and snapcall a shove)

I think it is a fold, but I could see myself calling. Why did you only buy in for $100 if you don't mind me asking.

it's 100NL..

This is absolute you can buy in for 200xbb . But yeah I would fold the river here. And if you really want to bet less, do it on the river and not the turn.

thanks for the advice--I buy in for 100 instead of 200 bc thats what my roomate who is a professional poker player advised me to do. His handle is good2cu maybe you have heard of him

looks like he only plays a flush or a pure air bluff like this, and flush is extremely likely so fold riv. as has been said turn bet sizing is awfull... build that pot

You should get your money out of Absolute Poker... they aren't worth our rake contribution.

That said you got unlucky on the flop that nobody bet, but your turn bet is way too small and you gave odds to anyone on a draw. No way he's bluffing this now, cut your losses and make that guy pay for chasing next time!
