So just a little spot to wonder a bit about my defense range against 3B
Obv we defend this hand, i'm just wandering if this hand is not too stronk to bet 4beting and is not a clear call ?
On a spot like this i'm probably gonna defend all Axs (4beting like A7s A6s and A2s maybe), 4beting K9s then calling the better Kxs, calling QTs+, calling all sc down 76s and all pp down 55, calling ATo+ 4betting KJo (too good to 4bet) then calling KQo and then 4beting top of my range as well like QQ+ AKo AKs (prob calling AA alot)
What do you guys think bout that is there some improvement or mistake you would see ?

You can easily widen your calling range, its pretty nitty

This spot is a little different than opening btn and getting 3b, keep that in mind.

Things to consider in determining defense frequencies/ranges

1. open sizing
2. 3b sizing
3. relative stack depth
4. will villain have a 4b flatting range oop? If so, how wide?
5. does villain 5b bluff at all?
6. skill difference
7. 3b range of villain
8. your open range on btn/history with villain

If you only have 28 combos of value 4bets here then you can't 4bet the all the other hands you listed (which you're presumably folding to a 5bet) unless you know villain never 5bets light*.

Thx for answers
Yea i'm feeling too that it's a bit too tight
Yea obv adaptation to vilain will play a big part as well

hmm that's what i though too since i'm not 4beting JJ or AQs for value (4bet/call JJ would be the std here right ? what about AQs ?) and i call AA i find it a bit difficult to add too many 4bet bluffs, so i guess starting with 4beting JJ is a good idea
then i have 34 combos of value which means that i should get away with 34 combos of bluffs ? (1/1 is a good base for 4bet bluffs ? also i'm usually 4betting small like 15BB if the 3bet is 7 caus my field of regs usually call really rarely 4bets OOP, so i guess i can fold a bit more since the risk/reward of shoving light is kinda nasty for vilain)

Also what are the top of the hands that i should most of the time call with that i'm not calling on what i said earlier ?

It's okay to just 4-bet A2s-A7s in the beginning. Once you get more comfortable post-flop, you can start to flat them.
In this spot vs big 3b I would be more inclined to 4-bet this hand.
