Damn Canadians...99 OOP on paired board. Damn Canadians...99 OOP on paired board.

No offense to any of our Canadian friends of course.

I just sat down about an orbit ago and know pretty much nothing about villain other than he's Canadian and has played a good % of his hands so far. Maybe my experience is different from others, but Canadians generally seem to play really really weird. I've been pretty quiet so far.

Good place to fire 2 or 3 barrels by villan. No correct decision can be made without adidional info about his lines. All your high pair hands have the same value here. Will you play AA-QQ difrently?

I generally avoid those guessing games by folding the flop until i get a better understanding of how villain plays.

I hate this spot. without history I fold vs aggro I play back.

This board is like a smörgåsbord of bluffing opportunity for your std aggro reg villan.

Spot kind of sucks but yea I'd jus muck the flop the flop the first time. Def muck the turn, bad immediate odds and bad reverse implied odds if you "hit".

Also I think Canadians are similar to US players, just more fish/online player

If you know nothing, don't try to be a hero and fold flop.
99 is a huge blocker to his range though. But I doubt he is bluffing this turn again with air.

Call turn+ soul read river.

If you don't even know his pf flatting range these hands get really sketchy.

Well that's what I did and....

River: ($215.00) A (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $215, Hero folds

Kind of a weird river bc he might even shove any Ax hands he was bluffing w/. I hate calling flop/turn and folding river, but I'm thinking it was alright in this spot?

FWIW he was chatting to a couple other players about the previous hand while betting the turn and just before shoving river. He almost seemed dis-interested in the hand. Not sure if that makes a diff at all.

would chk flop intending to c/c to start. I think the canadians on party are better than a lot of the nationalities like anyone from non-scandanavia europe (and you get ur LOLLAGS there even) or especially Mexico/South America.

b/c flop c/f turn is standard w/o reads imo.

oop b/f the flop or a stop n go might be good too.

basically all 3 options are good until you get better reads or you know how the majority or players pla this spot.
