fine

hes folding Jx at the same rate if you c/r or do this
03-14-2010 , 08:11 PM
I really, really doubt villain has Jx
03-14-2010 , 08:17 PM
ok well his entire range is gonna have the same outcome either way

Fine against a reg you have some history with (better if you'd seen him show down some postflop shenanigans)... he expects you to DB reasonably wide here so he can float flop/raise turn somewhat wide himself and stats support that, and you have some equity against his value range.

Yeah, he's repping J8s, 55, 88 and 1 combo of 22 for value. I really don't expect to see JJ too often here if he's 3betting 8%. He should also have a lot of turned draws here that he should be folding to your shove, but getting it in here vs worse draws would be oh so nice.

I like this.

Maybe a little less because of the QTs hand. But it's hard to say if getting out of line against you once, makes him less likely to do it again.

What's your image from the sb? how often do you double barrel?

am i wrong for not liking this? isn't this an easy spot to just call? he's never folding when you do hit your spade on the river adn you have a pair and the nut flush draw so you're ahead of other draws. he's never folding his value hands here that he raised either.

aren't we putting too much stock into too small a sample size of turn barrels/raises?
03-15-2010 , 01:30 AM
i dont think your fold equity is good enough here and i vote c/c turn
03-15-2010 , 03:27 AM
This is pretty marginal because I don't think he expects you to fold much but c/c is bad. I think I peel in this spot.

u have to consider that he isnt folding semi-bluff, so if he is raising draws then we get it in with crazy good equity.

idk if he is though, unless he floats super light i think his turn raising range here is pretty strong.
