Butchered AK deep oop Butchered AK deep oop

Villian is running 25/22 over 300 hands with 7% 3 bet. Seems aggro overall.
Utg is running 24/17 over 450 hands with 14% ep pfr
Dont have much on shortstacker but he wasnt a complete fish.

PF- I really have no idea what to do here. I hate 4bet/f, 4bet/stacking off seems spewy, my hand is too good to fold, and I just dont like cold calling 3bets oop.

Flop- Now I feel like the only play is c/r/get it in.

hows ur image?

pf unless CO is clicking btns he isn't 3betting light with MP sser and UTG opener. i dont mind flatting here but if we 4bet, never folding.

flop - why not ck/call? i think you see AK/AQ here a decent amount if we do get it in.

why is flop like an insta get it in? can't we induce and play our hand like we have QQ or KK and don't know wtf to do with it?

this is a super ****ty spot and maybe folding pre is best?

i'm not a fan of your flop c/rai either

folding pre is probably OK, but flatting could be decent too because villain could be 3b AQo for value (UTG is not that deep, playing AQo multiway in raised pot sucks, playing it HU in a 3b pot rules)
last time I flatted a 3b cold with AK that's exactly what villain had, we just checked it down to the river and everyone was happy - he got to realize his 25% equity, I got to ship the pot when he didn't suck out on me

and I don't like the flop c/r because we are basically almost TRYING to make him fold AQ which is why I would certainly prefer a more passive line
even if say he only has 1 combo that beats us (when in reality he could have more) we're just making less money by making villain fold bluffs and weaker hands

You cant fold this pf

Raise the flop for info

Your c/r looks like ak and nothing else

Unless your image is very bad he has u beat here

If I'm calling here it's because I think CO is pretty wide and will play aggro on Axx and Kxx flops.

c/r let's him off easy if he's aggro and it's a really tough spot for even AQ.

Like others have said, with shorty in the pot, I'd probably just fold. Unless villain is really aggro, and not paying attention to stack sizes, then AK is just going to be behind his range mostly, and you won't make much on Axx and Kxx flops anyway.

Flat call the flop

Need to keep the bluffs and Ax hands in to get value on later streets.
