What if villain bet the turn....what does hero do and what is the plan for the river?

Yea I think I usually bet the turn but a lot of that is because I don't know what to do if I check and villain bets.

I like the way you played it. I like to think I'd play it the same.

As for being OOP I couldn't agree more.

I'd probably bet flop and b/f turn, not sure about river. Probably c/f river, if no reads

lol at title, and betting the turn i don't think is mandatory. but i don't think i can fold the river here. after the turn went check/check. and since you say he is pretty bad

if villain seems bad, i think turn bet is probably best.

aren't we getting raised of our equity to much if we bet turn? is he calling worse enough? is he ever folding better?

river is a fold imho, what hand could he be bluffing with? he didn't stab the turn etc. he's pbb going for thin value

nah the times that we take the pot down with a turn bet outweighs the possibility of getting blown off our hand. He will check a lot of rivers and we'll take it down at SD sometimes too.

basically, us taking the pot down now with a marginal hand should be our first priority if we can't make EV+ plays on future streets
