Just sat down a sec ago..Are you guys leading these flops? What to do on the river? Call? Raise? Push?

Villain is unknown.

I'd just call, and if he raised bigger I'd strongly consider folding.

yeah in retrospect I think pushing is horrible

He has a bigger flush here, like always. Just call his minraise.

A shove is -EV imo

I like your push. I think shove > call > raise. The problem with a standard raise (not saying it's incorrect) is it sucks when he shoves. I feel like it basically allows him to just call with a stupidly played set/straight/baby flush and we get stacked when he has a higher flush. At least with a shove, we win the max (I doubt anyone min-raising J8o here is folding) when ahead. Both ways we lose the max when behind.

A call is basically the opposite; we don't win or lose the max either way. I'm sure someone's going to jump in and lecture you about not losing your stack in limped pots. But usually with no other reads, to me minraise = donk, so I feel good about shoving. Whereas had he made a standard raise, it would be more likely that he was a normal player, and I would just call.

i'd lead out on the flop - often the first one showing agression takes it down. to me it looks like the villain has been trapping himself by slowplaying his 68/33/77

on the flop i often lead, but checking is fine.

i just call the river. i would never shove.
