Am I missing value and/or terribly misplaying this hand? Am I missing value and/or terribly misplaying this hand?

I sat down at this table about 4 minutes ago and basically doubled through with KK, now I am in this pot.

Poker Stars, $0.50/$1 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

MP: $87.10
Hero (CO): $198.45
BTN: $93
SB: $20.50
BB: $305.25
UTG: $41.45

Pre-Flop: T T dealt to Hero (CO)
2 folds, Hero raises to $5, BTN raises to $17, 2 folds, Hero calls $12

Flop: ($35.50) K 8 T (2 Players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $19, Hero raises to $111, BTN calls $57 and is All-In

Should I have waited to shove on the turn? Folded pre? Led the flop?

I ask because he took forever before calling the flop and I am beginning to think my action would fold out so many hands I want to get value from.

Why do you open for 5 bbs?

I muck this preflop without stats or history, but flop is very standard (so many action killing cards, and there is a great chance he got a piece of the board)

Like somebody else said before, your 5bb open is probably not standard or?

Against an unknown 4 mins at the table and this big raise in comparsion to his stack that is an instafold for me - unless you stack off TT everytime you get it in reraised pots....

While I was at the table, it was what everyone was opening for.

Anyways, I normally prefer open-raising 4-5 BBs, depending on the table, because I typically don't open that wide and people give me action no matter what.

Given BTN stack this should more times be a fold PF but flop is standard.
