Only read is that earlier, he floated with 2nd pair, and TPNK (Ax).

Hows my line so far apart from bet more on the flop. Im not sure if folding, pushing, or calling is the correct move here. No stats read.

No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed)

Button ($88.45)
SB ($81.25)
BB ($88)
UTG ($55.70)
MP ($79.45)
Hero ($123.80)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A, K.
2 folds, Hero raises to $4, Button calls $4, 2 folds.

Flop: ($9.50) A, T, 6 (2 players)
Hero bets $6, Button calls $6.

Turn: ($21.50) K (2 players)
Hero bets $16, Button raises to $48, hero....?

i can't tell what you mean by "he floated" with tpnk and 2nd pair...when u float a flop u don't have any piece of it. the reason i mention it is that you should only continue with this hand if you think the villain is tricky (which you 'float' comment implies) and can turn a made weaker hand like TJ into a bluff on the turn. fwiw, even if you think he's tricky this still might be a fold, but I'm not exactly sure (it would depend on alot of factors).

Otherwise, this is a standard fold on the turn, sine you don't have odds to draw to your fullhouse.

and welcome to the forum.

Thank you

So the bet is standard to protect draws but fold if raised big % of the time?

I used the term float wrong there,...

without some specific read, this is a fold. i think you played it well to this point. b/f turn in this spot is pretty standard.

Another question, if he raised to say $18 on the flop, what do I do then?

I'd 3bet all in.

i think i bet bigger on the flop.. try to make it as incorrect as possible for him to chase the flush.. here he might have hit but most times hell chase against you hell call the flop and fold to a turn bet and you get maximum value.. it sucks but you fold here almost all the time unless you got more info on him

second question.. i agree with hawkbets, take him all in, if hes got a draw you put it in good if hes got two pair or set.. well.. that sucks.

I think i got plenty to learn, thanks all for posting.

I (for some donkey reason) pushed and he snapped called with J9c

worse hands usually dont go crazy on such a board. given the straight and flush possibilities this is a standard fold.
