these guys don't vb thin. he checks pairs, maybe bluffs Q4/Q3, but not A4. if he had a pair on flop or turn (which is pretty likely imo) he's not value betting it here. so yeah i fold.

I think you played it fine. The least he's vbetting here is 2 pair and his line doesn't look like complete air. Fold is good.

bet 37$ on the river yourself imho, thin value + i don't think he bluffraises so we won't make a mistake like we might do now

if he's always betting the river when checked to I feel obligated to call

You can try blocking bet against him if he is dumb
Or check river fine
