Full Tilt Poker $0.50/$1 No Limit Hold'em - 5 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

CO: $15.75
Hero (BTN): $124.30
SB: $100.00
BB: $308.90
UTG: $142.70

Pre Flop: Hero is BTN with 9 9
2 folds, Hero raises to $3, SB raises to $11, 1 fold, Hero calls $8

Flop: ($23.00) 3 7 J (2 players)
SB bets $18, Hero???

Villain is unknown.

As stated in another thread by me, I am having several "blah" moments in 3-bet pots and many times when I flat a 3-bet in position with a pair, I get lost after the flop.

I mean, if I don't at least call a bet here on this flop, should I even call preflop? Ugh, folding seems so weak but I tend to feel like I'm leaking money when I continue in these sort of spots.

Any comments/general advice gladly welcomed.

At SSNL I think a good default line against unknowns here is to call the flop and fold to further action, because most people don't double barrel AK or other missed overs here very often.

If you are going to fold this flop then yes, you should fold preflop, since this is a great flop for you and you don't have the right implied odds to purely setmine preflop.

LOL PLZ DON'T YELL.

Are you folding to a barrel on any turn card? (Obviously not a 9)

Fold to any further aggression. Very few SSNL players are double barrel bluffing.

And haven't you heard? All cool people type in caps.

I lol'ed. Personally, I have never used my position to c/f.

I call here too, though.
