Villain is a good reg, running 19/15/4.. On draw heavy boards this is a very easy flop re-raise, but sometimes I wonder if there is any merit in calling on flops like this. What are your standard lines here?

Edited for more information: BB is a good laggier reg. I'm not really sure what villain thinks about me, I'm new to this level and we haven't tangled at all really.

What's BB like? I mostly call because we have position on CO so we can get some dollars in on later streets, and keeping BB around is awesome.

I flat this flop all day, though if villain is thinking on a higher level and you think has a strong hand here (JJ+) a raise could be nice. However, you have to be pretty sure that he'll think you raising here would be air.

calling is cool. You hand looks like 1 pair/T9/65 when you flat, so even if BB folds you give CO the chance to improve or barrel a scarecard on the turn.

This flop nails yours and bb range so it is pretty likely that villain has a hand here, I often would expect villain not to cbet this flop w/ air. I think calling here is prolly the best play, raising here multiway just screems alot of strength. It also allows villain to keep vbetting worse.

i tend to flat and raise turn...depends on turn I guess

IP calling is fine here, because you're going to be floating and calling with marginal one pair hands as well.

@larry: how exactly does this flop hit his range in the face? :S

Flatting is 100% standard here, especially as you move up stakes and villains discover the fold button when they have like 99-JJ.

Most good regs will keep bet/folding on that board with those hands so you get a lot more value that way. Depending on the card I don't hate a turn call either because it makes your hand look like something that might call two then fold to the third barrel.

well he has 77 and has flopped a set? medium connectors, pocket pairs etc that i expect btn/bb to be flatting with will be continueing on this flop a large portion of the time.

playing this flop fast against particular villain would be really bad imo

Good good... just checking.. I flatted and got three streets of value from JJ

yeah i just flat unless i have a maniac image (guess it depends what level villan is on as well. if he knows i'm laggy and knows that i shouldnt continue with air because of that ****ty image and i'm more likely to have a hand etc etc etc) then you can switch up. but whatever.
