i usually fold here since he never has air when checking flop and c/c'ing turn..
on the otherside i only bet <1/2 pot when i intend to induce a spaz..

This, as played, fold
03-06-2010 , 01:35 PM
how about the flop

prefer bet or checking
03-06-2010 , 01:49 PM
check

WA/WB he almost certainly checks air on this flop some% to rep showdown value and try to take away on turn or river etc

bet flop check back turn and bet river would be a better line cos it looks so bluffy

i think his range is "weak aces", KK and some air. rarely AK...

Call
03-06-2010 , 05:13 PM
So he raises with KK out of the small blind. He sees the Ace come says 'sheeeiiittt' and he checks, ready to call one bet to pick off a bluff. You check it back. He is still thinking the same and trying to get a cheap showdown. He checks and you make it cheap. He rivers Gin and goes for a great line imo. Just my crazy little idea though. I feel like that idiot detective off the Boondock Saints.
03-06-2010 , 07:54 PM
just check back river, now fold.
03-06-2010 , 08:00 PM
What was ur plan when u made that weird riverbet. I think u snapcalled cuz u were trying to induce right?
03-06-2010 , 10:33 PM
You did everything good, except that you bet that river. now fold cuz he isnt doing this with QQ

wtf? that's like the least bluffiest line possible
03-06-2010 , 11:04 PM
also, i def just bet flop and barrel away and i dont really think its close
03-07-2010 , 12:22 AM
bet flop, turn, and river and as played SNAPCALL he should play any Ax like this and you are beat by 3 combos of KK.
03-07-2010 , 12:51 AM
we'd bet the flop with air, right...?
03-07-2010 , 12:56 AM
Well, we're trying to get called by AX and worse pairs, right? So, I think the line that best reps bluffs is to bet flop and turn and check back river because he's never calling the river with underpairs and we chop with all AX (which he's never folding) except AK.

everything mythrilfox said.
03-07-2010 , 08:22 AM
check riverrrrr and I think it is a call now, he might try to get u off a split since u like ALWAYS have Ax here.
03-07-2010 , 08:28 AM
You're basically never behind on this flop

Either he is c/f'ing, or he is c/c'ing TT-KK/low AX, and from the hands he i c/c'ing, you want to try and get two streets of value and imo a small flop and river bet work well

as played, he has KK, fold river

We aren't wa/wb on the flop. The only thing he might check is the single combo of AA cuz he has the deck cripled. Other that we are wa/wa. He isn't checking AK/AQ here
