300NL 6max

Hero ($423.25) is dealt Ac-Kh in SB

UTG ($367.75) raises to $11, CO ($748.75) calls $11, button folds, Hero raises to $41, UTG folds, CO calls $30

Flop 5d-9s-Ad (Pot: $96)
Hero bets $78, CO calls $78

Turn 5d-9s-Ad-2d (Pot: $252)
Hero checks, CO puts Hero all-in for $304.25, Hero?

The villain is a reg but I have no reads on him since I haven't played with him all that much. Is a b/f on the turn better here possibly? What do you do here as played?

Bet folding the turn would be criminal. I lean towards calling the turn shove. I don't think a made flush would overshove the turn.

Call. Possibly KK-QQ or AK and he wants to take the pot right here because of your check

AK(d),AQ(d), KKd/QQd, 99, air but i would call for sure - to much money in the pot.

Actually the C/C on turn is good since you give him the chance to bluff his stack away with air whereas if you lead/shove he could still get away with air he decide to float on the flop

I'd bet/call the turn- you get calls from weaker pairs w/ diamonds, dont risk free cards and possibly fold a split pot.

Hmm I guess the consesus is I call here as played. I guess there are cases for both betting and checking the turn.

In any case, I tanked and finally called it. He turned up 55 for bottom set and I was dead. Meh.

I would not call, you're beating almost nothing he would play like this. Anyone saying a reg plays anything like this with KK or QQ is crazy. He is either semibluffing with Axdx or you are drawing dead.

with the a out, i wouldn't worry about the flush so much.

Sure, but if you see the pf action how can you dismiss a flush from his range?

I really think you're against flushes and sets too often here. Even against so-called bluffs you're usually around 75-25.

Open shove turn ldo

As played, easiest call ever

Also - pf raise pst or just over with someone a tough deeper. Make it $48-$54 I reckon

C'mon does anyone actually shove a flush here for over a PSB when checked to here? The only hand maaaaaybe I could see doing that with a flush is like two low connected diamonds or something scared I might have the Kd or something but even then does that hand actually shove here?

how the hell do you guys figure he has KK/QQ with d here, like seriously
- Villain is a reg, who flat a raise pf and flat a 3bet

This is definitely a KdKx/QdQx line alright...

I don't really understand the thought process in checking the turn, but as played I think you definitely have to call. I'd expect to be good here more often than not.

Bet - Calling the turn I think is also in order.

Did you win?

Good point.

That being said, betting the turn is a no brainer to get value from AJ, AQ, TT/JJ with a diamond. As played, I dunno, it's close.
