I just check behind on this flop, not sure what's better that you fold out.

I know he could have called your 3 bet light and be on a draw but I still think checking is better.

As played I think turn is an easy fold.

Call to hit straight, you have ~20% equity, 3:1 in pot odds and no fold equity at the turn.

I check behind on the flop.

As played you have 10 direct outs vs a set or two pair, but your odds suck vs AK, AQ and of course straights. I'd say you have ~15% equity.
With the stacks you have no FE so shoving is not an option; If you call villain only has $40 left so there aren't much implied odds. I think it's a close fold on the turn.

flop is a great spot to check behind. as played, when called im not putting any more money in UI. i think the turn is too slim to call and folding is best. if you call, you have to fold the river unless you hit and there is no guarantee that villain is stacking off if you do.
