Villain is fairly new to the table, but I have some limited stats on him from a previous session. He is 40/18 over 100 hands.

He flats steals approx 20% from SB and 3-bets around 9%. (Small sample, but they are indicative of his style I believe.

He donks a decent amount, around 12-15%, and folds to flop raises around 15%.

Nothing of note has taken place between us thus far.

What's your plan on the turn, and why?

Any feedback appreciated.

problem with the turn is that both the flush draw and straight draw got there. but villain could also be doing this with worse. i flat turn with the intention of re-evaluating river if a doesn't come down. depending on timing and bet sizing im either calling or folding.

I don't think he would do that with flushdraw.. Like holdemnewmby said I would call this down

yep, just about the worst card you could get. I still think his range for donking here is wider than made flushes, etc. I think I like calling the turn, and obviously folding any club river, but if it's a non club, I would be leaning towards calling unless he bombs the river

not at all dude, that turn card was brutal, but i really don't think you can just fold to a 1/3 lead like his on the turn. This $100 bet is the river bomb i was referring to when I said "leaning towards a call unless he bombs river" and I think he's so rarely bluffing you off here, just fold

so, yes I agree with you

nh teddy, i think you played it fine. villain never gets to the river with a bare flush draw. its usually either a pair + a big club, top pair, a worse 2 pair, a straight or a flush. i think you can feel comfortable in your river fold when villain bets big.

probably call the river, his range is wider than you think given his stats
