200NL - TPTK turn decision 200NL - TPTK turn decision

UTG is 22/19/7, plays well, solid and aggressive. Capable of getting it in thin but never entirely out of line.

I almost clicked fold preflop but meh. I think calling is the only sensible play on the flop.

When i am playing well i check back this turn sometimes but after this session i couldn't decide whether a check or a bet was best.

My concern is am i really getting 2 more sts of value from hands i am ahead of? If not, then should i get my 1 st on the turn or the river?

bet bet

think about what you do with T9/AK/flushdraws/ATs

and don't even think about folding preflop

Bet, you're repping a lot of draws and he's probably setting up a c/r with KQ lol

Happy if we get CR? lol

checking and seeing a variance free river might not be such a bad option. like you say OP your not sure if you get 2 streets of value vs villian anyway... any by taking a free river we potentially get value from all of villians bluffs/missed draws as well (which we don't get if we bet the turn)

@OP:
what do you expect villian to do with all of his strong draws? is he capable of c/raising them on the turn? if so i think i prefer pot controlling and taking the free river

bet/bet isn't a terrible option though as we could easily be taking this line with a missed draw assuming river bricks

I feel like he will barrel most strong draws looking to get me off a 1 pair type hand. He knows i know he is UTG, bet into 2 of us on the flop and that he isn't blindly firing away on turn. Having said that i expect him him play his big made hands the same way as well, knowing that i have draws and pairs myself. Personally i dont like CRing any of my range in his spot against a player like me. Anyway i might be over thinking it, but none of the options seem very clear cut to me.

As far as big draws he would be happy to CR with there isn;t that many combos...AT, KT and 9T hearts and spades, some of which he might not even cbet the flop with into 2 of us.

Do we see anyone ever CR with 9Ts here? How about AQ or KK?

how often do ppl check-raise turn really? most regs on stars dont c/r flop more than 10%, even less on turns. so worrying about that is just silly.

Well my standard line vs 95% of the regs is to bet/fold this turn, unless im fairly certain he can bluffraise or get it in light on the turn.

Like jackwilcox obove say if you check their stats very few regs have a turn CR of over 5% which is very nutty so your AQ is never good once that type of player c/r you. If he has some type of combo draw with no showdown value AK,AT FD im expecting him to barrel the turn. If he has pair+fd he might c/c. The only problem with bet/folding is if his capable of c/r turn with those combo draws.

bet 35

Def agree regarding turn CR frequencies...very rare and dount it is ever with big draws, especially with these starting stacks.

I bet 32 and he made it 84 fairly quickly...he 12 tables BTW if that affects our decision in anyway.

fold and feel pretty good about it

i dont really like folding the top of our range

but im not so sure this guy is gonna exploit us

b/f turn is good

Ye in hindsight i agree. I called and got shown AA. I don't like his play at all tbh...because the only hand he beats that i may call it off with is AQ, and even then...i can usually fold it if i am paying attention and playing well.
