200NL: super annoying spot for me 200NL: super annoying spot for me

Villain was playing 25/23 over 45 hands and pretty str8 forward so far.
On the turn, im not really bluffing that often so i didn't think i should bet so thinly, but perhaps i should, i dunno.. i didn't really liek fold since he probably has flush/str8 draws and will bet them but then on the river when my hand looks like what it is... I really hate these spots, what do you do?

Nah don't bet turn, especially given it was 3-way and you don't have any reads/history with villain. If you folded river I think you played the hand well.

he doesnt have a ton of reason to bet 35 with his draws on the turn. so as played i fold river.
With that said i think if we bet on the turn we look strong enough for him not to bluff most rivers. and we do get called by some draws, so i think in the end we make more monies then taking a passive line.

Not sure if calling the turn to then fold the river is the optimal line here although i wudnt say its bad.... Sure its a +ev spot for folding the river, but i think when calling the turn, in general isnt it better to call the river? If you thought he'd bet the turn with draws, then why wudnt he bet the river?
